Members of the FPR-Inkotanyi Community living in Finland convened to support the candidacy of their organisation’s nominee, President Paul Kagame, and the candidates for Deputy positions. This event took place on June 26, 2024, at the football stadium on Pirkkolan metsätie 6 in Helsinki.
Kigundu Richard, seizing the opportunity to promote the FPR-Inkotanyi candidates, emphasized to the members and their friends that participating in the elections and voting responsibly is a civic duty. He expressed gratitude to those who participated in the campaign and discussed appropriate conduct for the upcoming Presidential and Deputy elections.
Richard Kigundu also encouraged all Rwandans present to join the RPF-Inkotanyi, stating, “There is nothing better than being part of the RPF-Inkotanyi family.”
The election schedule for Rwandans living abroad is set for July 14, 2024, followed by domestic elections on July 15, 2024. On July 16, 2024, elections will be held to select 24 women deputies, two youth representatives, and one representative for people with disabilities.
Provisional election results are expected by July 20, 2024, with the final results anticipated by July 27, 2024.
